A Braided River by Ruth Gregornik
From Psalm 104:27-30:
All your creatures look to you,
to give us our food in due season.
When you give it to us, we gather it up;
when you open your hand, we are filled with good things.
When you hide your face, we are dismayed;
when you take away our breath, we die
and return to dust.
When you send forth your Spirit, we are created,
and you renew the face of the ground.
